DAVENPORT — Jamie A. Albert, 63, of Davenport, passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011, after a short battle with cancer with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August, 26, 2011, at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the mortuary. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Online condolence may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Jamie was born on March 29, 1948, in Davenport, the daughter of Harry C. Lantau Sr. and Colleen M. (Conner) Lantau.
She married Joseph Albert on January 17, 1970. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2006.
Mrs. Albert was a stay-at-home mother to her two daughters. She loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her fiancé, Chris Carmack, who loved her dearly; daughters, Jodi (Robert) Brown, Bettendorf, and Jennifer Albert-Freeman, DeWitt; stepchildren, Vickie (Scott) Aguilar, Bettendorf, and Rick (Jane) Albert, Davenport; grandchildren, Jeffery, Matthew, Ashley and Cody Brown, Austin, Tyler and Dallas Freeman, and Zachary and Jeffery Jr. Scott; father, Harry; brother, Harry Jr. (Dianne) Lantau, Freeport; and sister, Rebecca (Jeff) Wierenga, Port Byron.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen.
