Belinda Joyce Counts Baldwin, 51, of Chapmanville, was born August 23, 1959, at Logan, a daughter of Dorothy Ann Seay Counts of Justice Addition and the late Jackie "Jake" Counts. She peacefully departed this life Saturday, August 20, 2011, in her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

Also preceding her in death was one brother, Randall L. Seay.

Belinda was formerly employed by Trinity Health Care at Henlawson. She was a devoted wife, extraordinarily loving mother, and a glowing, proud grandmother. She loved all kids and was known as "Momma B" to a host of "her kids". She was an avid supporter of the Chapmanville area sports and attended Central United Baptist Church at Logan. Belinda was a friend to many offering love and kindness to all she met, the very embodiment of genuine friendship, always armed with a smile, a kind word and an open door, she never met a stranger, if by chance she did it wouldn't remain that way long, to so many her presence felt like home, and now many are faced with the reality of mourning her death and celebrating a life well lived.

Belinda was the heart and soul of a family that included her mother Dorothy; her husband of 28 years, Eugene; her children, Brittany Counts and Bo Horton and Jared and Tori Baldwin, all of Barboursville and Brenna and Michael Marcum of Mill Creek; her two beautiful granddaughters, Phaedra Jayne Horton and Hannah Gabrielle Marcum; sister Danita "Doll" Seay of Logan; uncle, Kenny (Frances) Seay of Mill Creek; aunts, Sandy (Roger) Ball and Delcie Bias, both of Lake, Joanna Seay of Barboursville, Easter Dingess of Milton and Nina (Johnny) Hill of Georgia and a multitude of cousins and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, at Central United Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn White Jr., Rev. Ricky Adkins and Mr. Bill Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Shannon, Gary Stollings, Ricky Curry, Bill Vance, Roger Horton and Vivie Marcum.

Honorary pallbearers are Hiram Hill, Richie Adkins, Matt Gibbs and Jesse Marcum. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the Central United Baptist Church Christian Center.

A very special thank you to Deanna Leslie, Rebecca Vance, Dorothy Mahaffey, Lisa Haddox-Heston, Sharon Thern, Arielle Thern, Susan and Roger Horton, Gary and Sandy Stollings, Bobby and Teresa Shannon, Vicki Lee, Vivie and Tammie Marcum, Jimmy Hiroskey, Central United Baptist Church, Trinity Health Care Services and Dignity Hospice Staff, especially Lana Buchanon, Heather Chapman, Regina Pritchard, Missi Dingess and Shana Johnston for all their help to the Baldwin Family in their time of need. In lieu of flowers, Belinda requested contributions be made to a scholarship fund in her name at Chase Bank, Chapmanville, W.Va. 25508.
