Florence Marie graduated from St. Paul's High School in Marion, Indiana. She married and later divorced James Bryner. They had two girls: Mary Ellen and Frances. In 1948, Florence married and later divorced Kenneth Waldo. They had two boys :Mark and Thomas. She then married John Porter. After his death, she married Robert Motz. In later years, she experienced poor health and was cared for in a nursing home in Indianapolis, where she died on 13 March 1992. She was buried in Marion, Indiana.
