He was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Goddard, Ky., the son of Henry Harold and Ethel Flo (Dixon) Back.
He married Dixie Bupp on Aug. 11, 1984, in Reno, Nv. She died Sept. 5, 1997.
Together, the couple lived in Florida and Dayton, Oh., before moving back to Bronson, Mi.
Frank served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was self-employed in communications and recently retired.
