Mrs. Adah L. Hayes, 52 years old, wife of John H. Hayes, 411 Bestor st. and a Peoria resident for 24 years, died last night at St. Francis hospital.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John V. Miller, she was born in Peoria March 22, 1885 and was married in this city 35 years ago. Surviving are the husband; her father of Downer Grove, Ill.; one brother, Ralph V. Miller, Seattle, Wash.; three sons, Paul V. and Ernest W. Hayes, both of Peoria, and John M. Hayes, Elgin, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. W.K. Turbett, Pekin; Mrs. J.W. Oepke, Mrs. W.K. Schlatte and Miss Ann Hayes all of Peoria and six grandchildren.
