Funeral services for Mrs. G. C. Baker, 42, wife of Judge G. C. Baker, who died Wednesday, were held at 10 a. m. Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. A. Haley, 1814 Genesee street. Rev. Evander Ammons and Rev. L. W. White of Richmond officiated. Burial was in Hollywood cemetery under the direction of the Houston Undertaking company. Active pallbearers were Judge T. C. Rowe, A. E. Quay, J. C. Tenable, Joe W. Secor, Robert M. Jolly and Rev. D. R. Pevoto. Honorary pallbearers were Hon. Daniel E. Garreft, Dr. E. M. Armstrong, G. C. Blakely, General J. C. Foster, all of Houston, and T. B. Wessendorff, Judge F. M. Fenn and John M. Moors, all of Richmond.

Hettie Blair married Judge George Cleveland Baker, Jr., on July 26, 1900, and they had one child, a daughter, Elizabeth Kathryn Baker Long, who married William Robert Long, Jr on December 27, 1928 in Harris County, Texas.
