DERBYSHIRE. -- Died, October 6, 1885, at 9 o'clock A. M., Mrs. CHARLOTTE DERBYSHIRE, in the fifty-fourth year of her age.
Patience had her perfect work, and after long and severe suffering the messenger came and found her "perfect and entire, wanting nothing," her lamp trimmed and burning, she watching and waiting, and her weary soul ready and willing.
"Mother, thou art gone to rest;
We will not weep for thee,
For thou art gone where oft on earth
Thy spirit longed to be.
"Mother thou art gone to rest,
Thy toils and cares are o'er,
And sorrow, pain, and suffering now
Shall ne'er distress thee more."
The funeral will take place from Pine-Street Baptist Church TO-DAY (Wednesday) at 3 1/2 o'clock P. M. Friends and acquaintances of the family and of her son, James H. Wright, are invited to attend.
