Local services for Mrs. Mattie Akin, 42, Spring Valley, Calif., who died Wednesday in a San Diego, Calif., hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Chapel of Roses at Resthaven Cemetery under direction of Hunter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Akin was born in Texas, but moved to Oklahoma as a child. She was graduated from high school at Rose Dale and attended East Central State College.
Surviving are her husband Jack, a daughter, Janet, and a son, Jack jr., all of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Puckett, Nicoma Park; four sisters, Miss Mary Puckett, Spring Valley; Miss Rae Puckett, 2600 NW 63; Mrs. Jewel Morgan, 2756 NW Grand Blvd., and Mrs. Violet Coyer, Chickasha, and four brothers, Robert, Nicoma Park; Kenneth, Lawton; Noel, Richmond, Calif., and Curtis, Dover, Del..
Other services were Friday in Chula Vista, Calif.
