Mrs. Millison Presher, wife of the late John Presher, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gustave Halton, of Janesville, on Monday, Feb. 11, 1895, aged 90 years. The remains were brought to Argyle for burial and were laid to rest by the side of her husband on Thursday.
The deceased was born in Tioga County, N.Y. Sept. 11, 1804, was married to John R. Presher in 1834, came to Wisconsin in 1852, and the greater part of her life since that time has been spent in this vicinity and in neighboring towns, she having lived in Janesville but a few months.
She has five children living and was a member of a family in which there were living representatives of five generations. She was well known to many of the older residents and was highly respected by all. She lived to a ripe old age and leaves behind her a clean record and a spotless life.
