William Madison Hover was born August 10, 1854, in Pickaway County to Jacob and Ivy (Kyles) Hoover. On December 9, 1875, He married Margaret Jane Arbaugh in Pickaway County.
Margaret was the daughter of John and Nancy (Lyons) Arbaugh. John Arbaugh was Justice of the Peace in South Bloomfield and was one of my Great-Great Grandmother's brothers. The Arbaugh family was from Vinton County and the Hamlet of Arbaugh was named for them. Susanna Arbaugh was the first female post mistress in Ohio serving the entire time up until 1918 when the Arbaugh Post Office closed. ~TLS~
