Weirton - Daniel Lovy 80, 302 Ave I, died Friday Morning in the Weirton Medical Center.

He was born August 20 1902, in Berlin, Pa., son of the late Daniel and Matilda Queer Lovy.

He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, and was a retired car inspector of the Pennsylvania Railroad Co.

He was preceded in death by two brothers George and Edward and a sister Katherine Lovy.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Selma Bradley Lovy; four sons, Daniel P. of Dayton, Ohio, Robert L. of Houston, Tex., Edward T. and Bernard D. of New Cumberland; four daughters, Mrs. Clemens (Frances) Rocchio, Mrs. William (Mary) Karpinski, Mrs. Paul (Regina) Miller and Cynthia Arango of New Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. James (Martina) Brown of Weirton, and Mary Brown of Flushing, Ohio; 26 grandchildren, and four great-grandsons.

Friends will be received at Howell Funeral Home, 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

Mass of Christain Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Church with Rev. Harold Moore as celebrant. Burial in St. Paul Cemetery.

Rosary devotions will be at 8:30 p.m. Sunday
