Ruth M. Eberly Tripp, age 83, of Sandwich, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the Willowcrest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born on March 30, 1920 in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of James and Anna (Lampe) Feltz.
    Ruth was united in marriage during 1938 to Mr. Irvin C. Eberly, and they spent the next 23 happy years of their lived together until his passing on May 5, 1961. She was then united in marriage, during 1965, to her former husband, Mr. Richard Tripp. Ruth was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL. In her spare time, she loved to watch her children participate in their school sports activities. Ruth was known for the great love she gave to her family, and will be deeply missed by them.
    Mrs. Tripp is survived by her children, George (Vivian) Eberly of Hinckley, IL, Ann Willford of LaCrosse, WI, Ronald (Diane) Eberly of Hinckley, IL, Judy (Jim) Burks of Hinckley, IL, Kathy (Bob) Albright of Independence, LA, Rolf (Cathy) Eberly of DeKalb, IL, Irvin (Laurie) Eberly of Sandwich, IL, David Eberly of Hinckley, IL, Robert and Richard Tripp, both of Wisconsin; her 15 grandchildren; her 16 great- grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
    Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna; her husband, Irvin C. Eberly; her five brothers; her two sisters, and one grandson.
    Funeral Services for Ruth will be private. Interment will take place in the East Pierce Cemetery, Maple Park, IL.
    Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., Hinckley, IL.
