DIED, at Lexington, Ind., July 10th, 1871, at 5 o'clock P.M., Robert E. Dunlap, aged 23 years and 6 months.
The funeral occurred at 4½ o'clock this evening, from Trinity Church.

ROBERT E. DUNLAP, a promising young lawyer of Lexington, formerly of the law-firm of Allison and Friedley, died suddenly in Lexington last evening. He was the youngest son of Justice Dunlap, of this city, and was the Republican candidate for joint Representative for the counties of Clark, Scott and Jefferson at the last October election, receiving a handsome vote.--The remains were brought to his old home in this city for burial to-day, and appropriate funeral services took place at Trinity M.E. Church, of which the deceased was a member.

The members of the Madison Bar held a meeting yesterday, at which resolutions of respect to the memory of the late Robert E. Dunlap were passed. Hon. J. Y. Allison and C.S. Stapp delivered short eulogies upon the life and character of the deceased.
