Jessie E. Forst, 70, Duncansville, died Saturday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Garman and Jessie G. (Gearhart) Reed.
Surviving are three daughters: Holly Rosenthall (Harry) of Altoona, Stephanie Vaughn in Florida and Sherry Green of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Brynn Hansard, Caitlin Nedimyer, Ethan Rosenthall, Johnny Grove, Meghan McMahan, Tayler Plummer and Ariel Green-Fisher; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Deffley in Delaware; and her dog, Muffet Ann, and cat, Willow.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas; and a sister, Dolores Kwolek.
Jessie graduated from Altoona High School and worked as a laborer at Butterick Co. Her hobbies included gardening and baking.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata (www.maukandyates.com). Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
