Cherry Faye Peacock, 55, of Jasper, Texas., passed away Friday August 5, 2011.

She was born October 22, 1955 in Kountze, Texas the daughter of Leonard C. and Faye Ellen (Cooke) Shipman.

Cherry was preceded in death by her father Leonard C. Shipman.

She was a member of The Grace United Methodist Church of Conway. Cherry was devoted to church and family. She loved music.

Cherry is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dennis, her previously mentioned mother, Faye Ellen Shipman, two sons, Donald Curtis Peacock of Denver Colorado. and Andrew Paul Peacock of Houston, Texas., two brothers, Ben Ralph Shipman of Jasper, Texas., Bill Shipman of Texas City, Texas. and Daughter in law, Meagin Peacock of Denver, Colorado.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10th at Grace United Methodist Church in Conway with Rev. Greg Comer officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist College Ministry, Cross Bayou Emmuas Chapel Fund or UMAS Neurosurgery.
