Grace Aust Frazier Abraham, 79, of Indianola died July 30, 2011 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola in the Schwartz Ward Sunday School Class followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Monday, August 1, 2011. Burial will be in the Indianola City Cemetery under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.
Grace was the loving wife of Dannie Abraham for 60 years, a loving mother and grandmother, known as Mama Grace. Growing up in Belzoni, Grace attended the Presbyterian Church and Belzoni High School; she went to college at Belhaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley and Hallie Millwood Frazier; daughter, Hallie Gail Abraham; three brothers, James W. Frazier, Jr., Jeff E. Frazier, and Marvin Frazier; and two sisters, Martha Bolls and Hazel W. Frazier.
She is survived by her husband Dannie, her children and their spouses, Danny Abraham (Betsy) of Cleveland, Michael Abraham (Helen) of Indianola, and Steven Abraham (Karen) of Dana Point, CA; two sisters, Betty Till of Jackson and Alma Pitner of Memphis, TN and five grandchildren.
