Graveside funeral services for Bessie M. Wall, 93, of Nampa, who died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1989, at a Boise health care center, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Shoshone Cemetery in Shoshone, with the Rev. Sue Nelson, pastor of the Jerome United Methodist Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.

Mrs. Wall was born Jan, 9, 1896, at St. George, Mo. She was reared and educated in Missouri, later moving to Shoshone. She married Art Wall and they made their home in Jerome and Twin Falls before moving to Nampa. He died in 1961 and she continued to make her home in Nampa. She was a member of the Nampa First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Ida Steigall, and a brother, Ed Young, both in Missouri; a granddaughter, Vonda Workman, Boise; a grandson, Jack Newman, in Oregon; a son-in-law, Jay Newman, Nampa; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lorane Newman.
