Mildred ‘Mickey’ Duda Bradley died on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003 at the Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mt. Angel at the age of 89. Born in January 1914 at her family farm, Mickey was the second of seven children born to Mary and Bernard Duda. Mickey lived her entire life in the Mt. Angel area, marrying Justin Bradley in November 1948. She worked with the Benedictine Sisters retiring in 1993.
Mickey is survived by her son Michael; sisters Agnes Marsh and Veronica Payseno; brother William Duda; sisters-in-laws Lorraine, Dell and Beverly Duda. She was preceded in death by her husband Justin; her sister, Sister Bernarda Duda and brothers Walter and Clarence Duda.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003 and a celebration of life and mass will be held on Monday. Oct. 20, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. both held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Angel. Remembrances may be made to the Benedictine Sisters, 840 S. Main St., Mt. Angel, OR. Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Chapel.
