She was born July 15, 1921 at Waynoka to Orville A. and Iva L. Gaylord Conaway and died July 4, 2007 at a local nursing facility.
She married Milton J. Adkins July 19, 1941 at Oklahoma City. A graduate of Waynoka High School in 1939 and Draun's Business College, she worked as a bookkeeper for Clyde Brown Accounting. She was a member of Firtst Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lloyd, Floyd, Omer and Lester, and a sister, Lucille.
Survivors include her husband, Milton J. Adkins; daughter, Melody Farrell and her husband, Brad, Ardmore; and granddaughter, Crystal Farrell, Norman.
