Mrs. A. L. Adams Passes Away
Mrs. A. L. Adams, of near Rudyard, passed away at St. Clare hospital in this city at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, following an illness extending over the past two years. Death was caused by carcinoma.
Anna McCormick was born at Walnut, Iowa, on June 1, 1882 and was 60 years, 9 months and 17 days of age. She spent her early life in Iowa, later moving to South Dakota. She was united in marriage to A. L. Adams at Moline, Kansas, on April 17, 1907, where they resided until coming to Montana in 1913 to homestead and where they have since resided. Mrs. Adams was loved and respected by all who knew her and her death came as a shock to friends.
She is survived by her husband, A. L. Adams, and by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Farrell of this city. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Thomas F. and Charles A. McCormick, Oklahoma City; James N. McCormick, Bridgewater, S. D.; Mary McCormick and Jennie McCormick, of Fort Benton; besides other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services are being held from the Catholic church this Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. and will be conducted by Rev. Fr. Conkey. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
