Fader, Irene M. - Of Durand, age 88, died Monday, October 27, 1997 at Vienna Living Center. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, October 30, 1997 at the Swartz Creek Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Reverend K. David Fulks officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to Durand Church of the Nazarene. Visitation 6-9 P.M. Tuesday, 1-3 and 5-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fader was born in Tuscola Co., Michigan on August 24, 1909, the daughter of James and Ina McNeil and was a resident of Duran since 1953, having come from Flint. She married Tressel Fader on October 28, 1955 in Unionville. Mrs. Fader was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Durand. Surviving are 3 daughters; 2 sons; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, Merkel and wife Harriet Fader of Caro; several nieces and nephews. She was prededed in death by her husband, in 1996; 3 sisters and brother.
