Evert was born and raised in Backus and North Minneapolis. He was a proud Army veteran and Pearl Harbor Survivor. He worked as a road maintenance foreman for Minnegasco and retired in 1981. Luncheon following the service at the Forest Lake VFW, where he was a lifetime member. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A special thank you to the Fairview Hospice team that took such good care of him in his final days, especially his nurse Lisa.
