Lucy Reed Still Adkisson, aged 81, wife of George Robinson Adkisson, died at the residence, 247 West Twenty-Seventh Street, yesterday morning at 5 o’clock. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph P. Gearhart; two sons, George Campbell and Reed Still Adkisson and three grandsons, Horace C., Robert G. and George Frank Adkisson, all of Norfolk. Mrs. Adkisson was a native of Pittsylvania County and had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 years and was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
