Race Horse. Born the son of thoroughbred champion Sea-Bird, he won the Preakness, Everglades and Belmont Stakes in 1974, being named Champion 3-year-old colt of 1974. During the Haskell Invitational, he injured a leg but still finished second and was retired. In retirement, he sired 519 foals in 22 crops with 325 winners and total progeny earnings of $15,394,739. He was euthanized at the age of 32 after an attack of colic.
