Married 30 Jan 1889 at Bennett, Lancaster Co., Nebraska, Joseph E. Burkey. Her maiden name was spelled Koble and age given as 18 years old. This would place her DOB about 1871 vs 1879 as shown on the tombstone. 1900 census gives her DOB as June 1871.
Parents: Lewis C. Koble & Sarah K. Slater. (This appears to be the couple married 21 Dec 1865 Tuscarawas Co., OH. Her name was spelled Schlet and she died 29 June 1873 in Holmes Co., OH.)

RITES FOR MRS. BURKEY HELD HERE TUESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Coble Burkey, 68, were conducted at the Methodist Church in Minco, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, by Rev. J.W. Barker, of Calumet, and Rev. Adrion V. Rea. Burial was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Death came to Mrs. Burkey, Sunday October 3rd, in her home west of Minco, after a brief illness caused by paralytic stroke. She is survived by her husband, J.E. Burkey, sons, Frank and Louis; daughters, Mrs. Mary Weems and Mrs. Ruth Damron of Cogar; son Ralph of Minco; daughters, Mrs. Nora Warren, of Madrid, Calif.; Mrs. Maude Mitchell, EL Reno; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
