BOILER, Eleonore Sold, 81, living in Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Mrs. Boiler was born in Munich, Germany, and was a World War II bride. Mrs. Boiler was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sold and Kontoristin Ernestine Egger Sold; her husband, Benjamin Boiler; and her brother, Robert Sold. She is survived by her son, William Boiler and his wife, Pamela; grandchildren, David O'Rourke and his wife, Kristy, Christine Sharon and her husband, Christopher; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Erna Maskos; close friend, Ruth Sears; and multiple beloved granddogs, cats, hated ferrets; and extended family from Germany. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Bermuda Memorial Park in Chesterfield, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 5511 Staples Mill Road, Suite 202B, Richmond, Va. 23228.
