Hettie Hutsel Brewer Alder and husband Henry Clay Alder had eight living children and two children who died at birth. Hettie helped her husband farmer their land and care for their children. She loved the Lord and worshipped at the Verona Baptist Church. She read her Bible daily. She was greatly loved and honored by her children and grandchildren. She is remembered to this date by her grandchildren. She was a fun grandmother and loved to tease the grandchildren. One time she was eating a plum that had a worm in it and she pretended to eat the worm. She loved the laughter and giggles of her grandchildren. Her death was such a loss to the family. Her faith and legacy is passed on to her grandchildren's grandchildren. Her memories live on.
