Cadiz, Ky - Services for Carl Eugene Stewart, 71, Cerulean, were Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank E. Stallins officiating and burial in the Cerulean Cemetery.
He died at 4:05am at Trigg County Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Christian County, he was born August 5, 1911, the son of the late Ross Roy and Winnie Mae Brent Stewart. He was a member of Cerulean Baptist Church and was a retired painter.
Survivors include 8 sons; Carroll E. of Cerulean, John and Brent both of Princeton, Bruce of Dawson Springs, Ralph Wayne of Rota, Spain, U.S. Navy, Royce and Jerry both of Cobb and Carl Leslie Stewart of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Four daughters, Patricia Ladd of Bellevilla, Mich., Marlene Villafranca, Del Rio, Texas, Winnie Eckles and Sherry Stewart both of Tulsa Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
