Diana Kay "Mama Dee" Bowen, 60 of Knobel, formerly of Piggott/Corning, died Friday, July 20, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in La Porte, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Bernice Pointon Schoff. She was a homemaker and had been a longtime Clay County resident. She was the widow of Johnny Bowen who preceded her in death in 1994.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Zila.

Survivors include a son, Mathew Bowen of Knobel; two daughters, Missy Manuel of Jonesboro and Melody Miler of Paragould; a sister, Donna Schram of Michigan City, Ind.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. There will be no visitation.
