Son of William Emil & Bess (WILLIAMSON) ADERHOLD, Sr. Married Ruth Ann PICKERING. Engineer and father of two children.

"ADERHOLD // WILLIAM (JOE) Born January 12, 1923 in Dallas and passed away JUne 10, 1995. Graduated with honors from S[outhern] M[ethodist] U[niversity] with a degree in engineering. Was a Lt. Comm. in the U.S. Navy Seabees stationed in the South Pacific during WWII; also served during the Korean Conflict; belongs to the Retired Officers Association. He was employed by the Centex Bateson [company] for 35 years. A member of the Reed Sunday School [class] of Park Cities Baptist Church for 38 years and the North Texas PC Users Group. Survived by wife of 48 years, Ruth Anne ADERHOLD; two sons, William R. ADERHOLD and Robert Mark ADERHOLD; granddaughter, Amy Marie ADERHOLD; several cousins. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 12 at RESTLAND WILDWOOD CHAPEL with Dr. Robert POLK officiating." [Dallas (TX) Times Herald newspaper, JUN 1995.]
