Almous J. Niswonger

SUCCESS- Almous J. Niswonger, 72, of Success died today at Doctors Regional Medical Center. He was a retired farmer.

Born Sept. 21, 1914, in Clay County, Ark., he was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was married to Grace J. Thom Willis on Dec. 4 1936, in Corning. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Christine Niswonger of the home and Ona Faye Gossett of Success; his step mother, May Niswonger of Hoxie, Ark; two brothers, Junior Niswonger of Rockford, Ill., and William Niswonger of Pocahontas; five sisters, Ellen Hurt of Corning, Marie Chastine of Jonesboro, and Ruth Kisling, Louise Ashlock, and Sheila Kilbreath, all of Rockford; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, with Bobby Ball and Marvin Travelstead officiating.
