ollowing a lingering illness, Andrew Jackson Case, 73 years old, a former well known resident of Connellsville, died last night at his home at Ursina. Funeral services from the Case home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. A.J. Whipkey, a nephew of the late Mrs. Case, officiating. The body will arrive here Friday morning on Baltimore and Ohio train No. 57, due at 9:35 o'clock, and will be removed by funeral director J.E. Sims to Hill Grove cemetery for interment. Rev. E.B. Burgess, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate at the grave. The King Solomon Lodge F & AM, of which the deceased was a member, will be in charge of the services. Mr. Case was born in Maryland, a son of the late George W. and Annie E. Bird Case. Virtually all his life was spent in Connellsville. For a number of years he conducted a harness store in West Main street and served one term as tax collector. After retiring from the harness business, Mr. Case purchased the Baltimore House. About 10 years ago he purchased a farm at Fort Hill and resided there until his removal to a farm at Ursina. In addition to being a member of the King Solomon Lodge, Mr. Case was a member of the Knight Templars, the Shriners, the Chapter and Commandery of Pittsburgh, and of the William McKinley Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He is survived by one son, Ralston Case, at home; one brother, Addison Case, and one sister, Miss Sallie Case. Mrs. Case died January 25, 1912, and a son, George Case, died February 14, 1915.
