Anastacio was born on February 5, 1931 to Rufino and Sofia (Romero) Trujillo in Santa Fé, New Mexico.
Anastacio spent his childhood in Santa Fé and graduated from St. Michael's High School.
On July 24, 1954 he married Dolores Martínez in Santa Fé, NM at St. John's Catholic Church.
Anastacio also served in the Korean War.
Anastacio was a resident of Fruita, Colorado for six years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Anastacio was a flooring specialist, master carver and his interests were gardening, football and camping. Anastacio loved his family. Anastacio was a good father and enjoyed basketball and sledding with his children. Anastacio was a leader for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and enjoyed many pleasant conversations with others. Anastacio is survived by his wife, Dolores Trujillo of Fruita, CO, sons, Richard M. Trujillo and Raymond T. Trujillo, both of Denver, CO, daughter, Carmela Webb of Mack, CO and eight grandchildren.
A rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fruita on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. and a Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on October 26, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, New Mexico.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Colorado and the American Cancer Society.
