Gayle Marz, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2009, at home after gracefully facing the challenges of pancreatic cancer.
Gayle served with distinction in the United States Navy and as an FBI Special Agent (retired).
Gayle was preceded in death by his son, Mark Marz and his grandson, Keaton Mullis.
Gayle is survived by his wife of 60 years, Perli Marz, daughters, Marsha Freedman and her husband, David, Renee and her husband, Chad Mullis and Rhonda Buehren, grandchildren, Alexandra and her husband, Rob Smith, Devon and her husband, Chris Baumback, Allison and Hannah Freedman and Tony Rush, sister Carol Morgan and loving family members, Steve and Aleta Graham.
In accordance with Gayle's wishes, there will be no public memorial services.
Gayle will be inurned at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Gayle's name to the NM Cancer Center Foundation, 4901 Lang Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454. Alexandria, VA 22312 or the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 6733 Academy Road NE, Suite D1, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
