Daisy went to work for a pay check for the first time in her life after losing her husband Bill, (George William Moring), at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, CA.
She met Ralph Edward Edgar James at Douglas, he started there after retiring from the US Navy. They were married 25 July 1968 in Long Beach, CA. He fit into our family perfectly and she fit into his. The children on both sides loved each of them as did the grandchildren. They were such a cute couple; he taught her to be a passenger on a motorcycle and they traveled all over. He took her to Canada, Mexico, then Japan and Singapore, she loved it and came home with beautiful silk clothes made just for her.
She had never traveled before except back to Kansas to visit relatives and now she was traveling the world.
She was a Christian and a firm believer and one time while traveling they needed a large kettle and after stating the fact one suddenly appeared along the side of the road on their way home. Things like this happened to her very often and she never questioned it… it also made Ralph a firm believer.
They would have been married 35 years in July and are alive in our hearts and memories every day. Her burial was 20 Mar. 2003.
