Dorothy Florence Allen was the daughter of John Schroeder and Eva Kliewer, she was born in Harvey County Kansas, the youngest of seven children born to them. She was also the second daughter in the family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eva, sister Hedwig "Hattie" Schellenberg, and brothers, Ezra Ernest; Rhynold Sam; Paul G; John Waldo and Orlando Robert.
She is survived by her husband, Marion " Buzz" Allen, three daughters and sons in law and numerous nieces and nephews.
