VIENNA - Taylor Lynn Simmons, infant daughter of Don and Kim (Racey) Simmons Jr., was born Sunday, May 11, 2008. She departed this life at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, in Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
In addition to her parents, Taylor is survived by three sisters, Morgan Elizabeth Racey-Test, Marissa Nicole Simmons and Ally Renee Simmons; paternal grandparents, Don and Sue Simmons Sr. of Dongola; maternal grandparents, Alan and Carol Racey of Vienna; great-grandparents, Mary Rector of Anna, Darwin and Wilma Racey of Vienna and Lois Marshall of Metropolis; uncle and aunt, Brian and Terri Simmons of Dongola; and aunt, Chelsie Racey of Vienna.
Taylor was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Arnold Rector and maternal grandfather, Herbert Marshall.
Taylor was baptized on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in Anna City Cemetery, with Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
