Lillian Mabel Steward, a resident of Coos County for her entire lifetime, died at age 85 in Bandon on Friday, Nov. 22, 1968. She was a resident of the Coquille community for 35 years. She was born in Utter City, Dec. 29, 1882.
Mrs. Steward was a member of the Baptist Emanuel Church, Coquille, and Coquille Grange.
Surviving are sons, Earl M. Steward, Pleasanton, Calif; William Howard Steward, Lincoln City; Henry A. Steward, Salem; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Coquille Chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park, Coos Bay. The Rev. Allen Tow of Baptist Emanuel Chuch will officiate.
