Mrs. Ida Belle Brown, age 85 years and widow of John H. Brown, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Keefer, Jordan's Retreat, on Friday at seven a.m. after an illness of two weeks. Born in Baltimore city she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Angeline Sellers Jones. Her husband predeceased her by seven years.
Surviving are the following children: Eddie H. Brown, Mrs. Archie Keefer, Jordan's Retreat; Mrs. Walter Cook, both of near Westminster; Mrs. Walter Smith, Mrs. Arthur Heiderman, both of Baltimore; Theodore A. Brown, New Windsor, and Mrs. Ame Page, Ijamsville. Twenty-nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Kate Reynolds, Camp Canton, N.J.; Mrs. David Ranouls, Warfieldsburg; Thomas S. Jones, Phoenixburg; David Jones, Randallstown. She was a member of the Methodist church.
