BONSIGNORE Michael J. Age 85, of Johnson St., Elmira, NY, passed away Monday, March 13, 2006, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mike was a proud Marine who served in WWII and was a life member of the VFW as well as a member of the Italian American Veterans Club. He retired from NYSEG where he was a Chief Lineman and stayed active in several organizations for many years. Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Dorleen; as well as his children, Richard (Karen) Bonsignore of Big Flats, Christine Bonsignore of Webster, Kathi (Robert) Pritchard of Horseheads, Diane Onorato of Oklahoma, William (Sharon) Christensen of Elmira, Ronald (Roxanne) Christensen of Attica and Timothy Christensen of Elmira. He is also survived by sister, Mary (Anthony) Christofaro of Horseheads; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his daughter, Theresa; parents, John and Frances; brother, Francesco Bonsignore; and sister, Elena Bevilacqua. It was Mike's wish for private services to be held at the convenience of his family. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn National Cemetery with Military Honors.
