BAIER Louis E. "Lew" A longtime resident of Plymouth Ave. Southport passed away, Tuesday evening, July 19, 2005 at his home with his family at his side following a battle with cancer at the age of 82. Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport on Saturday, July 23, 2005 between the hours of 12 (noon) - 2 p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation with Lew's pastor, the Reverend James Crupi of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church officiating. Full military honors will be accorded Lew in the Gardens at Caywood's after the service. Upon completion, Lew's ashes will be interred in the Woodlawn National Cemetery Columbarium here in Elmira. The family will provide flowers and requests memorials be directed to the Christian Faith Fellowship Church, PO Box 4212 Elmira, NY 14904 or Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd. Corning, NY 14830 in his memory.
