FARMINGTON - Christopher J. Allen, 27, of Farmington, died tragically in an automobile accident on Sunday, June 5, 2011. He was born May 30, 1984, in Farmington, a son of Philip R. and Melissa (Bubar) Allen. As a young boy, he played T-ball, little league baseball, Farmington Recreation Department soccer and middle school soccer and ski team. He was a 2002 graduate of Mt. Blue High School, where he was a member of the ski team.

He attended Husson College and the University of Maine at Farmington, but found that college was not meeting his plans. He received an agent's license in real estate and was employed by Harris Real Estate and Palmer Real Estate. Chris worked for his father from the age of 16 until he was 24 and then worked for Goings Electric Supply for two years. He recently began working for Dan Wheeler, an electrical contractor in Fayette and was working to complete his coursework to earn his electrician's license.
