A native of Andrews, N.C., she lived in Tallahassee since 1980, having moved from Boynton Beach. She was a member of East Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Karen H. Willes (and husband Fred) of Tallahassee and a stepdaughter, Patricia Bachor (and husband Richard) of Franklin, N.C.
She was preceded in death in 1959 by her husband of 14 years, Neil C. Hay Jr., and in 2002 by her husband of 39 years, Lester W. Brant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308; Florida Baptist Children's Homes, 8415 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, FL 32311; East Hill Baptist Church, 912 Miccosukee Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308; or a favorite charity.
