Born Aug. 28, 1911, in Osceola, he was a son of Roy and Laura Bronson. He married Veretus Roundy in Canastota. Mrs. Bronson died in September, 1967. Educated in Rome schools, Mr. Bronson was of the Protestant faith. He served in the Army from 1928 to 1934.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Sheila) Seoane, New Orleans, three sons, Richard Bronson and William Bronson, both of Rome, and James Bronson, Chicago, two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Ethel) Cummings and Mrs. Henrietta Bussiere, both of Syracuse, three brothers, David Bronson, Fred L. Bronson and Kenneth Bronson, all of Rome and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 Tuesday at the Strong Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Rome Sentinel
Their 4 year old son, Donald Paul Bronson was killed by an ice truck in 1948.
