Sadie was born April 24, 1899, in Garfield, Washington, the daughter of Ulysses Simpson Grant Edwards and Amanda Florence Cooper Edwards.

Sadie Edith Edwards was united in marriage to Clarence Arthur Else, 18 Dec 1917 in Yuma, Yuma County, Colorado.

Clarence and Sadie were divorced.

Sadie married Don Carmen Grubbs, 27 Jul 1942 in Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington.

Sadie and Don Grubbs had no children together.

Sadie graduated from high school at the age of 75.

Sadie Edith Grubbs, 91, passed away at her home, May 11, 1990.

Sadie is the mother of, Douglas Raymond Else of Everett, and daughter, Helen Geraldine Bunney of Everett,

Sadie is the grandmother of, Don Wenz, Gloria Rittenberg, Barbara Law, Cheryl Else, Michael Else, Douglas Else Jr, Pat Wilber, Patricia Vaughn, Judy Bunney, Larry Bunney, Debra Gonzales, and Mark Bunney, Sadie also had 36 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Sadie was a great grandmother, always loving and kind, she will always be remembered for her "Special Loving Kindness".

She was preceded in death by grandsons, Gary and Jamie Else.
