HERMAN, Jack Thomas, 68, formerly of Prattville, Alabama died unexpectedly at his home in Dunlap, Tennessee on Friday, May 27, 2011.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from Prattville Memory Gardens with the United States Air Fore Honor Guard providing honors and Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.

Mr. Herman proudly served his country in the United States Air Force followed by a professional career with Dunlap Industries. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason in good standing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mildred Herman. He is survived by his beloved companion, Marilyn Overstreet; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ann and Robert Chambliss, Maxie L. and Jasper Griffin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Ann Herman, Jimmy and Twana Herman; special friends, Dale and Diane Overstreet; several extended family members and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Chambliss, Mark Chambliss, Pete Herman, Bill Herman, Cody Herman, Dave Myers, and David Peterson, Honorary pallbearers will be Melton Myers and Billy Sparks.

The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel one hour prior to his service on Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
