Archibald Austin was born 18 April 1860 in Casey County, Kentucky. He was married in Lincoln County, Kentucky on 25 December 1879 to Hannah J. Estes, at the home of the brides father, George W. Estes. Hannah was born on 20 September 1861, died 7 May 1901 in Lincoln County, and is buried in Estes Cemetery, New Salem Road, Lincoln County. Archibald married again in Lincoln County on 23 December 1907 to widow Bettie J. (Leonard) Estes of Lincoln County, both were 47. Archibald died 12 February 1946 in Lincoln County and is buried in Estes Cemetery. His children, all by his first wife, were born in Lincoln County, except William born in Casey County, Kentucky.
