Mrs. Cleo Borders, 82, Loogootee, died at 7:45 p.m., Sunday, July 19 at the Poplar Valley Living Center, Loogootee.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23 at the Loogootee Christian Church with Bro. Gene Grasham officiating.
She was born June 19, 1905 in Martin County to Homer and Cora (Holt) Fields. She married James Wallace Borders in June of 1932 and he died in August of 1973. She was a member of the Loogootee Christian Church and was a charter member of the Sunshine Homemakers Club. She was operator for the Loogootee Telephone Exchange for many years and worked at the Larkin Brothers Department Store for 19 years.
Surviving are one son, Dean Borders, Loogootee, and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
