Bill Arganbright was born August 28, 1938 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Flora Juanita and Roy Anson Arganbright. He passed away August 3, 2009 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 5 days.
Bill grew up in Cherokee. He graduated from Cherokee High School where he was a member of the National Guard and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1956. On December 19, 1959 he married Pat Loessberg at Uvalde, TX. After his discharge in 1960 they returned to Cherokee. He began a career in the electric industry and his job took him to Uvalde, Laredo, Hooker, Fairview as well as Sayre, where he made his home. In December of 1984 he went to work for Northfork Electric CoOp, retiring in January 2004 after 20 years as a Line Superintendent and Director of Outside Operations. Bill enjoyed being outdoors riding horses, roping, fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Bobby Gene Arganbright, and an infant grandson, Justin Cole Arganbright.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home; 2 sons, Ronnie Arganbright and wife, Terri, Sayre, OK, Billy Arganbright, Turpin, OK; 3 grandsons, Brandt, Chris and Derek, Arganbright; 1 brother, Donald "Butch" Arganbright, and wife, Bernie, Cherokee, OK; an aunt, Karen Sue Rozell and husband, Wayne, Chandler, OK; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.
