Mrs. Alice Strawn Enters Into Rest
Young Mother Dies Yesterday, Leaving Young Child and Husband
Mrs. Alice Strawn died yesterday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Martha McDaniels of north Moberly. She was 24 years old. Mrs. Strawn had just returned from Texas, where she went on account of her health, and had been home just a few hours when she departed this life. She has been ill for some time but her relatives did not think that her condition was critical.
Mrs. Strawn leaves a husband Lester Strawn of the M. K. and T. Railroad, a son 15 months old, a mother and two brothers, Guy and Ray McDaniels, and a sister, Mrs. Ora Lee McDaniels. Mrs. Strawn was a graduate of the Moberly High School. She had a lovely Christian character and will be greatly missed by her many friends.
The funeral will be held from the Christian Church in Cairo at 11 o'clock Wednesday.
